Your non-urgent request will be reviewed and responded to by a member of the team on the same working day of the request being made. You may receive advice by phone, text, or be directed to another service if appropriate.
If you need advice, please telephone the surgery. A note will be made of your call and one of the reception team will call you back after consulting with a clinical member of staff.

Information for all patients
We wish to inform our patients about a significant change to our appointment system that will improve the way our surgery delivers care to our patients. GP practices across the Black Country and nationally are moving to a 'modern general practice' model to make access to care and treatment easier for patients and to help improive patient satisfaction.
From January 2026, we are starting our new system where when you have routine concerns only or non urgent requests you will need to submit a form and you will be signposted or offered an appointment with the appropriate clinician within a resonable time frame. If you feel you require an urgent appointment, please call the reception team on 0121 556 4615. Please note that if you do not have access to the website and you want to book a routine appointment, please call reception and they will help you.
How does this work?
Initially, a reception member will establish if your symptoms and circumstances meet the criteria for other health providers, this could be the pharmacy. If you are fortunate enough to have symptoms that can be dealt with by a pharmacy, a referral will be made for you to go to a communtiy pharmacy. You will then be contacted by the community pharmacy for them to complete their assessment, this can be done via telephone or an invite to attend the pharmacy within thier opening hours.
It is vital that we have the correct contact information for you, this includes your telephone number and email address. If you know we have the incorrect information on your record, please let reception know as soon as possible.
Please note, for the GP to triage your request in a timely maner, it is important to provide detailed and accurate information about your symptoms. We can no longer accept 'personal' as a reason for an appointment. If the information is less detailed, it is harder for reception to traige your form and this may delay the time frame in which you receive an appointment.
During the weekends or bank holidays, please continue to use the 111 service or call 999 for life threatening emergencies. you may also be referred to 111/walk-in centre if we are at capacity for the day.
Medical examinations for special purposes such as pre-employment, fitness to travel, elderly drivers, fitness to undertake sports etc., will require longer than a routine appointment.
These examinations do not form part of NHS Services, you will be charged for any such examination. Please check the fee chargeable before arranging any such examination. Please inform the receptionist when arranging such appointments.

Appointments by phone or video call can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel an appointment.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends and public holidays).

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10am.
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
